Norman G. Wat, DDS
Meet Dr. Norman Wat
Dr. Norman Wat completed his undergraduate work at the University of California, Berkeley in Biological Sciences. He received his DDS from Loyola University School of Dentistry in Chicago, IL in 1978, where he graduated cum laude with honors in endodontics and oral surgery. Dr. Wat then completed a general practice residency at the Los Angeles County/Olive View Medical Center in Van Nuys, CA. He went on to complete a six month oral surgery internship before beginning his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Martin Luther King/Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles. He completed his Oral Surgery residency in December 1982. He stayed on as a fellow and staff member through June 1984 with responsibilities that included supervision of the oral surgery residents. During this time, he was appointed as an adjunct professor in the Oral Surgery department of UCLA. Dr. Wat went into private practice in Fremont, CA in 1984 and has maintained privileges at Washington hospital and had served as the Chief of Dental Services Department.
Dr. Norman Wat has memberships in: CALAMOS, ADA, CDA, ADSA, CDSA, ISOMS, and other oral surgery/dental organizations. In his spare time, Dr. Wat enjoys struggling with golf and spending quality time with his grandchildren.
